AUSTIN – Third Court of Appeals Justice Bob Pemberton today formally announced that he is running for re-election in 2006 to Place 6 on the court. Pemberton has served in this position since 2003, when he was appointed to fill the vacancy created by Justice Lee Yeakel’s elevation to the federal bench. Pemberton was unanimously confirmed by the Texas Senate. In November 2004, Justice Pemberton was elected by the voters to continue serving the remainder of his unexpired term.
